Schools are now open in Israel and some are seeing a slight resurgence of coronavirus. At Migdal Ohr, we're both optimistic that we can stay open and also taking many extra precautions to keep our students and teachers safe.
As students went back to the Machshava School, each one was greeted with a personalized mask with her name on it. Thank you to all of the educators caring for the wellbeing of our children during this crisis. We are so grateful to have you on the frontlines, teaching children with compassion and love.
“I’m so happy to see everyone. I was worried about wearing a mask but when I saw my name on mine I just smiled! - Shira”
Teachers also empowered students to learn about COVID-19 safety by creating their own signs and displays to teach each other about the virus. They took a lot of pride in knowing how to protect themselves and others from the virus.
